They say angels walk among us and I know it’s true. Because I had the chance to spend some time with you. You made the coldest days feel like August on the beach, Like sand castles after the tide you’re out of reach. Yes, I know I can’t stay here with you. Living in denial cause you're too good to be true. Come to think of it, you were never mine to begin with. Courage is grace under pressure. They say the best are borrowed, never yours to own. So I guess I’m repaying this loan. In my every smile, every breath, and every step, There’s a part of you that I hope I kept.

Everywhere 02:16
I was sure I’d see you at the old cafe. I heard from a friend’s friend that you’d been there before. Not too proud to drink alone, I pulled up a chair. But spent the hour drinking alone to despair. Oh, where could you be? I’ve looked everywhere. I was sure I’d hear your voice at the show, Singing along to songs of heart break and despair. Standing alone, the music vibing hurt away, My voice was loud enough on its own that day. Oh, where could you be? I’ve looked everywhere. I was sure we’d chat at the gathering today, Seeing all we had in common, unaware. Never numb to the pleasure that fate could bring, Waiting for fate to bring us close, let my heart sing. Oh, where could you be? I’ve looked everywhere.

Brasília 02:34
Ever since you walked into the room, You stopped my mind, From reluctance and doubt, In my life. So I, must take the risk, and take my chances. Cause your grace has me in the clouds, But your words have my feet stuck to the ground. Cause I, would be a fool, if I let you go. Not sure of much in life, Many times, I’ve been wrong. But I’m the first to admit; I just want to move on. But how, could the one thing that I’m sure of be wrong?

Familiar face, what are you doing in this place? You’re not welcome here no more. You wait in line, all the time, for your turn. With your eyes always looking for the door. But it’s all yours, it’s always been up to you. You won’t believe it but it’s true. Worn out face, you’ve been all over the place, Chasing shadows, all the time. You’ve done so wrong, for so long, haven’t you? A life time sentence in your mind. Happy face, you’ve been all over the place, What have you been up to? You went away and found someone who loves you? Well, that’s just too good to be true.

Walls 03:14
Whatcha thinking behind those eyes? With those walls; what a brilliant disguise. I tried so hard to knock them down. Never could break through, I understand that now. With that frown, here we go again. I can feel that suffocating silence repeating. Making small talk with a wall. I dreamed of getting close and watching walls fall. Just me and you, and no one else. Except for those who only care about themselves. Everyone wants to know when I’m free. I was a prisoner with a key.

Kindness 03:50
I will keep you in mind, No matter how far from home I go. It’s you who always stood by my side, It’s you who I still confide in. Your kindness lives on. Your kindness will always live on with me. Your kindness lives on. I will keep you in mind, No matter who I meet. It’s you who loved without thought of return. It’s you who’s passion will continue to burn. I will keep you in mind, No matter how old I get. You were completely unforgettable. The times we laughed, unregrettable.
